We found the Palisade we were ...
We found the Palisade we were looking for on the website. We called and spoke with Joe Maddox, he was very professional and always made sure he gave accurate information. He made sure the vehicle was still on the lot and that we could get it at the price we matched with another dealer. Once we arrived the Palisade was ready and waiting. He went over it in great detail and let us take it on a test drive. He was very helpful while discussing finances and was very open about total charges. Everything was itemized easily on the screen for us to know exactly what we were getting and our prices, along with working with us to adjust monthly payments to fit our budget. After our financing was completed he introduced us to the maintenance dept so we could schedule our first oil change. I normally do not enjoy buying a vehicle, but Joe made the process easy and reduced my stress significantly. I would recommend him to friends and will definitely speak with him again whenever we start searching for our next new vehicle.

Worked with Jim Schneider, who did fantastic! Jim was tremendous at communicating and with answering questions. Especially given that the purchase and paperwork was ALL done remotely. Pricing and content (regarding our vehicle purchase) was very acceptable. Dealer was willing to negotiate on price (which is always a plus in car dealers). Though its not entirely within the control of the dealer, I would have liked to have received a better finance rate on the car purchase (especially given that both myself and my spouse are in the "excellent" credit score range). Highly recommend using Evansville Hyundai for purchasing a car! Ask for Jim, he truly was a great to work with and is great at keeping you (the client) updated. Also, i wanted to submit a plug for using their vehicle delivery service. The cost was extremely resonable (i.e., not even $300 for a roughly 200miles delivery journey). Totally worth it!

Granted, the dealership was very busy, after making the purchase of my new 2020 Tucson, I feel like I should have been a priority, but instead the salesman went on to try to make other sales, and I felt forgotten about while waiting to sign papers with the finance guy, and also to get the keys so I could leave with some questions left unanswered, The time at the dealership was lengthy but the time with the salesman was rushed. Luckily, they did send me home with all the necessary manuals to read and resolve my questions.

having to have our car towed 50 plus miles three times has been a royal pain in the ----. countless trips to Evansville have also been a pain. buying all the gas has put a burden on our budget. the service has been good.

Serviced dept did not inform m...
Serviced dept did not inform me that they would be keeping my car overnight. Nor was any rentals available for me. So I had no way to get to and from my destinations because I have no vehicle and wasn’t planned for it. But then while I was looking to possibly trade in my vehicle they were plenty of vehicles for demo that work available so I feel like they were not fully transparent with the status of rental cars. It should be common service to offer a rental car when you’re going to keep a vehicle overnight. Could work on communication.

Overall, everyone was pleasant and helpful. The one thing I didn't like was having the Xylion protection added to the car before I had a chance t say I wanted it, thereby making the cost of the car being $1395 more than the advertised price on CarGuru. There should be no surprises and this option should not be forced on the customer. That is unethical. I was able to have the cost removed and made the purchase, My sales agent was professional.

Dealership fixed my issue after several attempts, they even brought me a loaner to my location over an hour away and then delivered my car back to me when finished. It had even been washed and was full of fuel. Fingers crossed the issue doesn’t return. All of the repairs were either paid by the dealership or warranty and I was not charged anything as promised. Thank you for honoring your service.

I went in for a recall issue that I was assured would not take long at all, and that I would have plenty of time to get to my medical appt that followed it. I let them know this was very important, and should anything unforeseen happen, I would need a car right away. Something unforeseen did happen out of their control, and I had to keep checking in to see how much longer it would be and explain the importance of getting to my appointment. I did feel if someone would have been checking the update, this could have been resolved faster. None the less, the staff at Hyundai did their best to accommodate. They quickly got me a shuttle to make my appointment just on time. That did make me nervous, but the shuttle driver was awesome, and I was very grateful for the service and the kindness of the staff at Evansville Hyundai. They kept their calm, and truly did their best for me. I also saw what a hectic day it was for them, so I can't fault them for being 100% on my vehicle alone. All in all, Evansville Hyundai did an excellent job for me, and I commend the great group of people working there from the service men, to the first desk, and the kind lady who checked me out. The service at Evansville Hyundai is top notch, and I'm very happy that they can service my vehicle. My only suggestion might be to have more loaners available for when unexpected circumstances like this arise, but I thank you for having the shuttle. This is a great service, and was fortunate it could come so quickly.

I was in for a airbag recall and without question furnished me with a loner to drive. The work was done in record time and when I picked up my Oalisade it was washed and looked beautiful. I had accidently ran over a me...
I had accidently ran over a medium. There were alarms going off. I was upset that I had done that. I went to the dealership to have my car checked out. Russell came out to meet me after I drove in the service area.He saw that I was upset . He was very sweet talking to me and calming me down. Thankfully all they had to do was calibrate the memory card. I was very impressed with him.

Last night my car started shak...
Last night my car started shaking and the check engine light came on. I contacted Adam Keister and he was able to let Jacob know I was on my way to bring my car in for service and that I would need a loaner. Jacob had the loaner waiting for me when I arrived and took my car in, staying a few minutes late to take care of me. Today he called to let me know they found out what the problem was and that it had been repaired and I asked if it was possible to have an oil change while the car was there. He told me that he was a little short staffed and that he would see he was able to squeeze it in. He called me a little while later and let me know that he was able to get the oil changed. He was extremely helpful in what was a very stressful situation for me.

I could not be more pleased with the service that we have received from Evansville Hyundai! I would recommend your dealership to anyone! We live in Knox County and our car had to remain at the dealership for some time for an engine change. Not only was the complete engine change covered through a recall, but we were given a new Hyundai Sonata to drive until the dealership was finished with our car. We had the best experience possible with John Allen. He is a fantastic salesperson. John listened to our needs and desires and guided us to the perfect vehicle. He had the patience to answer all our questions and give us undivided attention. We will recommend John to our friends and family when they are considering a vehicle purchase. We also had a great experience dealing with Casey Adcock. He too listened to our desires and worked with us to receive the best possible trade allowance for our vehicles. Casey is a dedicated employee as he spend part of his Thanksgiving morning coming to get one of our traded in vehicles. He brought a battery charger to get our car going and then drove it to the dealership for us. Casey's dedication is evident as he didn't want to take time away from the dealership on Friday, one of your busiest days. Our experience in your service department has also been outstanding. That along with loving Hyundai brought us to your dealership to make our purchase.

The Service Dept. Personnel was pleasant, but not very friendly or talkative. I requested that Synthetic Oil be used in the car, as this is the first oil change for the new motor that you just installed in Early September. From what I can tell on the Receipt Shell conventional motor oil was used. The car manual recommends Synthetic oil. Also, they were not helpful at all about the Clear coat finish peeling on the mirrors and BlueTooth Shark fin.

Usually I have a great experie...
Usually I have a great experience but this time was not as smooth as usual. I was told to come and pay and by the time I was done with that my car would be ready. I did as instructed then was left standing around at the counter while they finished my car. This was for about 10 minutes or so and then I had to come back in to get my card punched since they had my keys while I stood up there waiting for my car to sit and be dried off. I think the people at the desk were new since I had not seen them before and I would recommend better training and people skills on both. Neither were that friendly.

I was told on an oil change vi...
I was told on an oil change visit that I need $3400 of parts replaced. When I discussed about it being under warranty and brought it back, there was nothing wrong with it. It cost me new tires and lost time. Kenny worked with me but still was not a pleasant experience.

The work on my car was done satisfactory. But I was frustrated on the wait time. I had been told by 3 people the car would be ready in one hour so I waited. After an hour and a half, I was told it could be another 1-2 hrs. At this time Russell was helpful and offered me a courtesy vehicle so I could leave. I was notified 45 min. later the car was ready. I feel like people that answer service questions should be knowledgeable or at least try and find the answer. Everyone there seemed scattered, even at check-out.

I had to reschedule my appoint...
I had to reschedule my appointment from 10:00 AM to 2:00 pm due to a work function that was supposed to take some time. Come to find out it only took about 20 minutes which left me with time no my hands so I asked the service department folks if they could get me in early, which they did, allowing me to get my service completed and not waste 3 hours hanging out.

I moved here from Milwaukee about four years ago and as I have had a Hyundai vehicle (this is my fourth) for years, I went to the Milwaukee Hyundai service station always. So, I am able to compare. This last service with Evansville, everybody was super friendly, not always the case with previous service. Milwaukee, ALWAYS friendly. I will say that at both places all my questions were answered, no problem there. In fact, I purchased a Tuscon which seems to have a lot of bells and whistles I am not familiar with so I found myself going back to the dealer in Evansville several times in the first year for the dealer to explain and/or set the various options and all were so very helpful AND patient with me, so appreciated this. Kudos for that. I was not offered nor received a complimentary car wash after servicing, I forgot to ask for one. In Milwaukee it was always offered up front, never needed to ask so I guess I got used to this service. I realize this is a small thing but, truly went a long way. ~ Thanks, Kathy

Danielle did a nice job on Aug. 8 of working my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport into the schedule on Aug. 9. On Aug. 9 she explained what the options were for one of the tires before the tires was inspected. After a tire was found to have irreparable damage, Danielle told me how a new tire could be ordered and when it might arrive. I especially appreciated how that Danielle stopped the repair of damage to the tire in one place that could be fixed before it was decided that the entire tire needed to be replaced. Danielle was professional and courteous.

Joe went above and beyond in ensuring that he went over each and every feature on our new Palisade (and there are many ). He was never overly assertive or pushy, even when we told him that we were going to look at other SUVs. We saw 4 other SUVs at two other dealerships and Joe stood out for his knowledge of the car we were looking at, his commitment to his brand of vehicles, and his general personality and friendliness. The first time I came by the lot it was raining and I ended up on a phone call right as I pulled in. Terry came out in the rain and talked to my 18 year old son. Terry treated my son with respect and like an adult. This impressed me very much. Often, young men his age are dismissed as unimportant or too young to pay attention to.
